About this policy

TrueDrawn (the “App”) is operated by Aswathy S, trading as Vembre Interactive (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains what information the App processes, why, who receives it, and the choices you have.

Scope

This policy applies to the TrueDrawn Android app. It does not cover other apps you open or share files with from the App. Your use of the App is also subject to our Terms of Service.

Information that stays on your device

The App works without an account. To provide its features it may use, on your device: the drawings and PDFs you choose to open, and the folders you give it access to; the markups, measurements, photo pins and notes you add, which are saved in a separate file next to the drawing so the drawing itself is not changed; photos you take or pick for a pin; the location of a pin, if you turn on adding location to new pins; reports you export; and your settings. This information stays under your control: you can remove it in the App or delete the files, and uninstalling the App removes the App’s own data.

Information we receive

We process limited, pseudonymous information — not your name, contact details, drawings, file names or anything you type — in these categories:

• Crash and diagnostic information, such as the type of error and where in the App it happened, device and operating-system type and app version, to keep the App stable and fix problems. Error messages are removed before sending, because they can contain file paths.
• Usage information, such as which features are used, the file format opened (DWG, DXF or PDF) and an approximate file-size range, described in fixed terms, to understand and improve the App. Collected only with the setting described under “Your choices”.
• Advertising measurement, such as whether our ads led to an install or a purchase, using your device’s advertising identifier where available, to measure our own marketing. Collected only with the setting described under “Your choices”.
• Purchase information, such as product, transaction and subscription status, store country and currency, to sell, validate and restore purchases, and, with the setting described under “Your choices”, to measure our marketing.
• Identifiers: pseudonymous installation, app-instance and app-user identifiers generated by the App’s service providers, and the advertising identifier described above.
• Support correspondence, if you contact us: your email address and what you send us, to respond to you.

Payment details are handled by Google Play and are not received by us. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We use service providers to distribute the App and to provide crash reporting, analytics, advertising measurement and purchase management. They currently include Google (for example Google Play, Firebase and Google Ads) and RevenueCat, each processing information under its own terms and privacy policy. Providers may change as the App evolves. Google explains how it uses information from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Your choices

• Share usage statistics. A setting in the App controls usage information and advertising measurement. In regions where consent is required — including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland — the App asks once and leaves the setting off until you agree. Elsewhere it is on by default. You can change it at any time in the App’s settings; turning it off stops this collection from then on and resets the related analytics data for your installation.
• Crash and diagnostic information is needed to keep the App working and is collected independently of that setting.
• Location for photo pins is optional, used only on your device, and can be turned off in the App’s settings or your device settings.
• Advertising identifier: you can reset or delete it in your device settings.

Legal bases

Where the law requires a legal basis (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), we rely on your consent for usage information and advertising measurement, which you can withdraw at any time using the setting above; on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the App for crash and diagnostic information; and on the performance of our contract with you and our legal obligations for purchase information.

Retention

Information on your device remains until you remove it or uninstall the App. Information held by us or our service providers is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above, in line with industry practice, and for longer only where the law requires it (for example, transaction records).

Your rights and deletion

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. You can:

• turn off Share usage statistics in the App’s settings;
• remove information stored in the App, or uninstall it; and
• email truedrawn@vembreinteractive.com for any other request, including deletion (subject “delete my data”).

We respond to valid requests within a reasonable period and as required by applicable law. You may also contact your local data-protection authority.

International processing

Our service providers may process information in countries other than yours, using safeguards required by applicable law.

Grievance contact

In accordance with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and applicable Indian data-protection law, grievances may be addressed to Aswathy S (trading as Vembre Interactive) at truedrawn@vembreinteractive.com. We endeavour to acknowledge and respond within a reasonable period.

Children

TrueDrawn is a work tool for construction and design professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example when the App or its service providers change. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where the law requires, take further steps such as asking for your consent again. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
